Secure Authentication
Udhar Reminder uses Firebase Authentication, a trusted and secure authentication service by Google.
Supported login methods:
- Google Sign-In
- Mobile number authentication (OTP)
Firebase follows industry-standard security practices to protect authentication data.
Network & Server Security
- Udhar Reminder does not upload udhar data to any remote server
- No sensitive business data is transmitted over the internet
- Internet access is used only for authentication, analytics, and ads (if enabled)
Analytics & Advertising Security
When enabled, we use trusted Google services:
- Google Analytics (for app performance and usage insights)
- Google AdMob (for displaying ads)
These services:
- Follow Google’s strict security and privacy standards
- Process data according to their published privacy policies
Notification Security
- Notifications are generated locally on your device
- No reminder data is sent to external servers
- Notifications are used only for due and overdue payment reminders
User Responsibility
To maintain security, we recommend users:
- Keep their device protected with a lock (PIN, pattern, or biometric)
- Do not share login credentials or OTPs
- Keep the app updated to the latest version
